Reinstall Problematic Software

Save and backup any files or settings you want to keep before uninstalling software. You may choose to keep your software profile and settings if the uninstaller provides this option. If you still want to use this software, you will need a working copy to install later.

Search > Add/Remove Programs
Click 'Search' and enter "Add Remove Programs". You can also access Add/Remove Programs and Features from the windows 'control panel'.
Look for software to uninstall
Look for the software causing problems and select 'Uninstall'. If you do not see the software listed here proceed to the next step.
Control Panel > Program Features
Visit the Windows Control Panel and open 'Programs and Features'.
Uninstall Software
Look for the software causing problems and select 'Uninstall'.

Reinstall Problematic Software

Scan all installation files before starting the installation process. It is not recommended to use software that is deemed malicious by Windows Defender or your antivirus program prior to install.

Scan with Windows Defender
Right click on the file and select 'Scan with Microsoft Defender'. If the file is clean, proceed with installation.
